Santuario de San Jose Parish, located in Greenhills East Village in Mandaluyong City, was established on April 19, 1967, thanks to a land donation from the Ortigas Company in the 1960s, with the church built under the care of the Oblates of St. Joseph.
The church was dedicated to St. Joseph the Patriarch, the husband of Mother Mary, and became a shrine celebrating his legacy, with its main feast day on March 19.
