Nuestra Señora De Regla Parish National Shrine – also known as the Virgen de la Regla National Shrine – in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, was established in 1735 and is dedicated to Our Lady of the Rule, whose image is believed to be miraculous. Its history stretches back to the Spanish colonial period, which makes it a significant part of the region’s Catholic heritage.
Rebuilt in the 1960s after World War II damage, the church was declared a national shrine in 1999. It’s a popular pilgrimage site, especially during the feast day on November 21, when locals and visitors gather for vibrant celebrations.
