The Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes in Cebu City started as a small chapel in 1954 and grew into a parish church by 1965. It earned its title as an archdiocesan shrine in 2004..
One thing that stands out is its lovely grotto, modeled after the famous one in Lourdes, France, which attracts many visitors and pilgrims. The church celebrates its feast day every February 11.
