St. Clement’s Church, also known as the Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish, is located in La Paz, Iloilo City, and was completed on February 23, 1941, under the administration of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer, or Redemptorists.
The Irish Redemptorists arrived in Iloilo on January 23, 1928, invited by Bishop James McCloskey, and the church became historic when it hosted the first prayers for the devotion of Our Mother of Perpetual Help in the Philippines and Asia on May 13, 1946.
This modern church, dedicated to Our Mother of Perpetual Help, is a popular pilgrimage site, especially on Wednesdays, and attracts devotees with its novenas.
