Shrine of Saint Therese of the Child Jesus Mass Schedule

The Shrine of Saint Therese of the Child Jesus, located in Pasay City across from Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3, began as a makeshift chapel in 1947 at Nichols Air Base (now Villamor Air Base), built by the first military chaplain of the Philippine Air Force, José Alberto, and was originally dedicated to Michael the Archangel.

The church underwent expansions and major renovations, notably in the 1980s, and was consecrated on December 16, 1983, then rededicated to Saint Therese of Lisieux on May 17, 2007, becoming a diocesan shrine under the Military Ordinariate of the Philippines.

This modern church, with its striking classical contemporary design and a capacity to seat up to 1,800 people, features a long nave and two shorter transepts inspired by the Reliquary of St. Therese, and it’s known for its golden altar and stained-glass windows depicting the saint’s life.
