Built in 1607, the San Agustin Church in Manila is the oldest stone church in the Philippines and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s a stunning example of Baroque architecture, surviving wars and earthquakes that destroyed much of the surrounding Intramuros district.
Also known as the Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation and Cincture, the church houses a museum with religious artifacts and colonial-era art. Its intricate stone carvings and serene courtyard make it a must-visit for history buffs and tourists alike.
